How do I enter?
The Commercial Motor Awards will open for entries on 18 March 2020. Entry is free and you can enter as many categories as you like just make sure that you tailor each entry to the criteria. Please ensure that you have also read and understood the terms and conditions for entering. Please send in your electronic entry form with your PDF submission through the website before the deadline of 17:00 on 5 June 2020.

Do I have to book my table and submit my entry at the same time?
No, you can submit your entry and book your table either separately or together.

What is the date of the Awards?
Thursday 26 November 2020.

When will I find out if my company has been shortlisted?
The events team will contact all entrants (regardless of whether they have been shortlisted or not) by 3 September 2020. The shortlist will be published on 3 September 2020 in Commercial Motor and on this website. 

When will I find out if my company has won?
The announcement of the winners will be made at the Commercial Motor Awards Ceremony on 26 November 2020 at the Vox Centre, Birmingham.

What are the timings for the evening?

When will I receive my invitations?
As long as payment for your table(s) has been received in cleared funds, your e-invitations will be sent to you three weeks before the event.

Who do I notify if one of my guests has special dietary requirements?
You will be able to add this information via the website up until 5 November 2020, by logging in and adding the information to your guest list. If you have been informed after the 5 November of a guest's dietary requirement please email it to

How do I order drinks for my table?
A drinks order form will be sent to you approximately a month before the event, where you will be able to purchase drinks for your table.

How do I buy tickets for the dinner?
You can purchase tickets on our website by selecting the 'book a table' tab.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made in writing to the registration contact at the address below.

If you cancel on or before 6 June 2020 we will refund your booking fee less an administrative charge of 15%.

If you cancel after 6 June 2020 but before 3 September 2020 we will refund your booking fee less an administrative charge of 15% plus a cancellation fee of 50%.

If you cancel after 3 September 2020 no refund will be given.

Please note this also applies in the case that payment has not yet been received when full payment of your booking would be required.

If we cancel the function we will refund all booking fees paid. We do not, however, accept liability for travelling, accommodation or any other expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation or postponement of the event.

Our liability for loss or damage incurred as the result of cancellation or postponement of the event is limited to the amount of your booking fee.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
